This is the clock from an Opel Manta B series, no doubt it will be compatible with the Opel Ascona B series and possibly a variety of other GM/Vauxhall/Bedford/Opel vehicles too. It is a genuine GM Opel branded part, made in Germany by VDO and the part number is 9287250.

This is the Haynes workshop manual for the Vauxhall Chevette, it covers the 1256 cc versions produced from 1975 to 1983, including the Chevanne. There is a supplemental chapter at the end covering the little differences made to the post-face lifted models. It should be noted that the HS and HSR homologation special models are not included.

This is the Haynes workshop manual for the Opel Ascona B series and Opel Manta B series and in true Haynes style, has a rather fine cutaway drawing by Terry Davey of the 4 door saloon version of the Opel Ascona B on the cover.

This is a set of three salvaged plain steel wheels for an Opel Manta A series. This style of wheel was normally fitted to the base "DeLuxe" specification car, typically fitted with the 1600cc engine variant.

They are 13" x 5J steel wheels with chrome plated hubcaps, although not shown in the photos these will be included. The 4 x 100 PCD will fit many other Vauxhall and Opel models, although the offset is more suitable for the rear wheel drive models.

As can be seen there is surface rust on the wheels, some time with a wire wheel or sand blasting would easily remedy this. These wheels would be useful as a set to fit whilst having bodywork done on your vehicle, they could be banded for a radical custom look or alternatively they could be for a small custom car trailer.

This is an original salvaged plastic cover for the AC Delco ignition distributor fitted to the C.I.H. engine in the Opel Manta A series. The part number is 13 10 32 and 3463155. Given the widespread use of AC Delco parts in so many Vauxhall and Opel models, it may fit other classic GM vehicles too.

I imagine that these were designed to help prevent moisture ingress to the distributor and causing misfires, etc. especially for those vehicles that were used in more humid conditions, such as in Northern Europe. It is in good serviceable condition, but owing to this parts location, there may still be some ingrained dirt, plus the odd scratch here and there.

Sadly this part sometimes gets lost by garages or careless mechanics, so would make an attractive and practical addition to any engine bay, whether a show car or daily driver.

This is a pair of genuine GM new old stock Opel Manta & Ascona A series front mud flaps. They are made from a creamy white coloured rubber and with no Blitz emblems or other embellishments. Included with the kit are a selection of mounting clamps and full mounting instructions. The part number on the label is 17 18 512.

These could be a very nice original accessory for someone with a white coloured vehicle or for a clubman style rally car or replica.

This is an original first aid box as fitted to various GPO "Post Office" vehicles including; the rubber wing Morris minor vans, Minis and BSA Bantam motorcycles. It is marked GPO on the back, the dimensions are 5" long, 1.5" deep and 3" wide.

This is a fuse box and cover from an Opel Manta A series, it is a genuine salvaged Opel part. It would be suitable for the following applications:

Opel Manta A series fuse box cover - £15

The fuse box cover, which so often goes missing, is present; before you get too excited it is worth noting that the tip of the plastic locking tab has broken off (see image above). The cover will stay in place, but this situation could be improved by attaching an additional piece of metal, glued in place with a high strength adhesive such as Araldite. I shall leave the next owner to decide if this is an acceptable modification to what is a recurring problem with this design of fuse box.

This is a reproduction Opel Manta A series tyre pressure door sticker. The original would have been mounted on the inside face of the (UK) passenger side B post, just below the door striker plate. As they are just a paper label, they rarely survive decades of use and multiple resprays.

The vinyl has small ventilation holes in the centre sections and the leatherette has a very delicate grain pattern. The overall look is much more in the minimalist 60s muscle car theme, rather than the 70s saloon comfort theme.

Factory OEM head rests were one of the many options available for the Opel Manta A series and similar models from the same era, although they wee rarely specified and are quite rare. All the seats could be fitted with head rests, the factory manual even gives the precise measurements to cut the seat in order to retro fit them.

These seat head rests may not be the original GM items (I recall the ones I had being a little thinner) however they are a very close match and will fit the original seats. They certainly look good, add a little comfort and protect against whiplash in the unfortunate case of an accident.

They are likely to be suitable for the following applications:

• Opel Manta A series
• Opel Ascona A series

They are both in good condition with some very slight wear marks here and there. They would be an excellent upgrade to a daily driven vehicle, or even to a show car with a little more time spent valeting them.

The head rests are available for £25, UK delivery (excluding remote Highlands & Islands) is included. Europe and the rest of the World are possible, but might be expensive due to size and weight when packed. So please ask for a quote first as this could be quite expensive to do.

In the past I have covered many thousands of miles in this type of seat and found them to be very comfortable. Just don't jump in on a hot summers day wearing shorts or you'll need to visit casualty for third degree burns treatment.

These seats suitable were the standard fitment for many variants of the Opel Manta A series, including the Rallye, SR, and Deluxe models. In my experience, this style of seat is normally seen (in the UK) on those variants made during the 1970-73 period. The chassis number for such vehicles would usually begin with a 592 or 599 prefix and would correspond to; J, K, L and even M suffix registration plates.

It is likely to be only suitable for the following applications:

• Opel Manta A series
• Opel Ascona A series

This is the driver's seat (UK RHD) from the set, it is in fair condition, but has some issues described below and is ripe for restoration. As often happens with these seats, the foam cushion has deteriorated badly. This has caused the seat base to collapse and made the vinyl tear where it is has become over stretched.

This is the passenger's seat (UK RHD) from the set, it is in quite good condition. There are a few wear marks here and there on the vinyl, on the exposed edges there are some spots that have worn through although they are rather small. It could be really useful for anyone with a left hand drive vehicle as a drop in replacement for a tired seat on a daily driver.
