  10. Hi , I'm looking for a gearbox rubber boot for a getrag bell housing. The gear box is getrag 265 from an Opel monza.
    I'm lead to believe that they are the same as the manta b .

  17. Hi Mark, I've recently acquired a very nice 1969 Opel GT and am looking for a few spares and also advice. The headlamps don't "lock" closed - maybe the actuators are worn? Very difficult to find new ones and the stuff on eBay (mainly in the US) looks pretty worn. I ned to get further into the system - maybe some adjustments will help but this stuff is new to me (I had a Manta A in the 70s, which was much simpler to work on!) so I'm finding my way. Any assistance you can give will be much appreciated. I'm in the UK (South West). Regards, David.

    1. I vaguely recall that, like the Manta A, about half of Opel GT production was for the US market. In the US there are specialists like Opel GT source, with a good inventory of parts, plenty of experience and they almost but not quite speak the same language. There is life beyond eBay and Amazon ;-)

  18. Guess what? 10 years after you scrapped the A series front pipe for a RHD Manta. I now need one for my 1973 1.6S and cannot find one! Can you offer anything today or point bme in the right direction please? Thanks David
