For Sale - Opel Manta A series Reversing Lights - £20 a pair

Recently I have had a lot of requests for Opel Manta A series rear light units consequently I have been busy sorting through units and preparing them for sale. As usual this took far longer than I anticipated, as is often the case.

This the first pair of Opel Manta A series reversing lights that I have prepared. They are in very good condition, the plastic body is free from cracks and damage. Although they were quite dirty initially, they responded well to a polish with T-cut and cleaning. There were a couple of patches of paint over-spray on the rear of the body; should you want you could blow over it with a smidgen of grey primer and no-one would ever be the wiser.

The bright chrome like trim trim looks fine at a distance, but close up scrutiny will reveal some areas around the perimeter where the surface has become milky. Unfortunately I don't think that you can do much to restore this this style of brightwork, but please feel free to correct me if you know better.

The lenses were in equally good shape, T-cut has removed all the dirt and given them a lovely shine. There is some light fading of the red on what will be the top surface when they are installed in a car. They all do this to a certain extent and should be remembered that these are 40 year old spares now.

I believe this first pair are quite simply the best units you will find for sale without forking out big money for brand new old stock items. Either way this pair of Manta A reversing lights will still make an excellent replacement part for an everyday classic or track day car. Plus there is also the option of repainting the silver trim in silk black, just like the Manta A GT/e, or alternatively in body colour for a custom finish.

This sort of repair part is difficult to find in the UK and normally extremely expensive to import. They are priced at £20 a pair for a quick sale, the price includes delivery within the UK.

I can send to some European locations too, but please ask for a quote first as this could be quite a high sum.

Obsolete GM spares are not exactly plentiful in the UK, stocks are limited and I will not be replacing them, so don't hang about if this is what you need for your car.
