This is a reversing light lens for the Opel Manta A series. It is a genuine GM Opel new old stock item, made by Hella, with the part number 12 27 434.
It is only suitable for the Opel Manta A series model. From my experience the earlier cars had SWF brand lights, which changed to Hella later, roughly around mid 1973. Both brands are directly interchangeable though, with no visible external differences.
Sometimes these light units are used as an alternative item for the Opel GT and even the Chevrolet Corvette. They have also been sort after by kit car builders for many years, particularly those wishing to recreate a Ferrari tribute.
It is priced at £20, the price includes delivery within the UK. I can send to some European locations too, but please ask for a quote first as this could be quite a high sum.
Obsolete GM spares are not exactly plentiful in the UK, this is the very last of my stock and I will not be replacing it, so don't hang about if this is what you need for your classic Opel.
