hi thanks for the reply it was surgested to me that they would possibly fir a mk1 cavalier 1.6 gearbox could you confirm this if you can or if you have a cavalier one please tell me you would make my day............. and are you anywere near essex or london
It should fit at the gearbox end, assuming you still have the original 4 speed gearbox in place. There was a difference to the design of the torque tube in the Cav Mk1 and early Manta B. I would suggest you take a look at my links and get on the Opel Manta Owners Club Forum, one of the experts there should be able to confirm what works. I am based in the South of London not too far from Clacket Lane services on the M25.
